"NOT MY WILL BUT YOURS BE DONE"--prayer

PRAYER!!

So powerful. do we even know it? what it can do to change our situations?

but why don't we do it all the time? are we missing out?

Why is it that some prayers are answered and other not? Why does God decide to show up here and not show up there? Or will God just do what He wants? if he does then what's the point of praying? If God can do anything why doesn't He just do it?

This is why prayer is sometimes confusing, so then we doubt that God will show up and so we don't bother praying because we don't believe that He will do something here and now.

Maybe we got this all twisted? Maybe we should be praying not for what we want...but for what He wants. Most of the time we always pray for God to do something for us. right? like God help me with this and that. i'm not saying it's a bad thing. God wants us to come to Him, but we need to grow deeper into our prayers not just praying for ourselves and our needs. We need to see what He wants us to do.

We need to Letgo of our wants and our selfish desires and LetGod reign.

What is that God wants from you? What does He want you to do?

It not about WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? but instead WHAT IS JESUS DOING?

TODAY...RIGHT HERE ...RIGHT NOW..

are we missing it?

For us to know what He wants us to do we always need to be OPEN.

OPEN to receive something new. Keeping our eyes and ears OPEN to see and hear from HIM.

OPENNESS includes HONESTY.

What's in your heart?

are there things that you haven't OPENED up to God yet? is there still a wall around things that you don't want God to intervene and work? are we building up walls to protect things that we are holding on to so tightly? are there things we can't LETgo of and LETGOD work in it? are we scared of what God might to say to us if we just HONESTLY OPEN up to HIM?

are there things in our lives that we are still trying to control because we think we can handle it and we want to see it happen a certain way....a way that we want it? not the way that GOD wants it.

when we take control what we are really saying is,

"GOD I CAN HANDLE THIS BETTER THAN YOU"

but really can we?

ARE WE REALLY TRUSTING GOD COMPLETELY?

not in some areas only. but in every area.

KNOW THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE AFRAID....GOD CAN HANDLE EVERY SITUATION YOU ARE IN.. WHATEVER IS IN YOUR HEART....HE CAN TAKE WHATEVER YOU SAY TO HIM......

ANYTHING...WHATEVER..WHENEVER...

IS YOUR LIFE A MESS? PRAY....

PRAYER TRANSFORMS THINGS....CHANGES THINGS....

CHANGES YOU!!!

When you pray you tap into the power that created the whole universe.....WOW....

a universe that was a mess He created and made it beautiful...

GOD CAN TAKE YOUR MESS AND MAKE IT INTO A WORK OF ART.

IF YOU JUST PRAY AND LETgo and LETGOD work on you....



SO TODAY MY PRAYER IS THAT WE WILL BE OPEN, HONEST, AND LETgo of everything that we are holding on to....and LETGOD....REIGN IN US...ALLOWING HIM TO TRANSFORM US AND MOLD US INTO WHO WE ARE MADE TO BE...AND MAY WE BE ABLE TO SAY.....
